CADE Reef S3/P 1800

The CADE Reef S3/P is a Euro-braced, extra-wide rimless aquarium built from ultra-clear Opti-Clear glass with precision-applied German Wacker silicone and a laser-etched logo for authenticity. Polycarbonate lids complement the Eurobrace, and light-mount provisions are integrated into the bracing. Its wide-body footprint provides exceptional aquascaping depth and coral visibility from all angles. The slimline glass weir features triple-level intakes (surface, mid, low) for superior debris capture with built-in emergency redundancy, while a rear glass channel guides water efficiently to drainage. Dual drainpipes ensure silent operation, and tank-side plumbing is pre-installed via a base plate system for effortless screw-fit assembly. A white laminated base supports both bare-bottom and shallow sand-bed aquariums.

The 900mm-tall S3/P cabinet arrives fully assembled with the sump installed. Constructed from 100% waterproof, corrosion-resistant materials, it features concealed magnetic latches, a powder-coated finish, and integrated routing for clean cable management. Dedicated controller panel doors with internal cable boxes, dual switched power boards, and ventilated dry zones for chillers and dosing equipment provide exceptional practicality. Built-in feed taps support chillers or calcium reactors, while the included storage shelf, tank mat, and caster feet ensure function, protection, and easy levelling.

The S3/P sump uses a raceway-style flow layout to eliminate dead zones and maximise filtration efficiency. A roller-mat-ready mechanical chamber replaces traditional filter socks, and a Triton Algae Tray is included for advanced nutrient export. Water then flows through the skimmer and reactor sections before entering a biological chamber with removable media baskets for optimal contact time and reduced need for external reactors. The return chamber accommodates high-flow pumps, and a high-volume ATO reservoir is integrated (ATO device not included).

The plumbing system uses pre-installed Sanking Flowcolour screw-fit components connected through a tank base plate for rapid, tool-free setup. It features a 40mm main siphon drain with fine-tuning gate valve, a 40mm emergency drain, and a 32mm return line that divides into dual 25mm outlets with non-return valves hidden within the weir. Additional feed taps allow water to be directed to chillers or reactors, compatible with both hard plumbing and supplied 17mm barbed hose fittings. Designed for quiet, efficient performance throughout.
