MarinePure Blocks are the best performer of the MarinePure bio-media range. The blocks are 8x8x4 inches in dimension and owes its effectiveness to the amount of surface area provided. MarinePure products are effective due to cell walls being thin enough to allow osmosis. MarinePure blocks are ideally placed in large area with low water flow, this encourages denitrifying bacteria to grow by forming anoxic zones and helping significantly with nitrate elimination.
