Quantum HR Nitrate Remover is a high-range nitrate control solution specifically designed for marine aquariums with nitrate levels above 15 ppm. It promotes the growth and activity of beneficial denitrifying bacteria that naturally convert nitrate (NO₃⁻) into nitrogen gas, helping maintain optimal nutrient balance in reef systems.

When to Use

Use only when nitrate levels are above 15 ppm. For lower nitrate concentrations, Quantum LR Nitrate Remover is recommended. HR Nitrate Remover works best in systems with active protein skimming and good bacterial colonization zones such as live rock and sand beds.

System Requirements

• Protein skimmer must be present

• Maintain pH ≥ 8.2

• Alkalinity should be ≥ 7 dKH

• Ideally used in tanks with deep sand beds or porous rock structures

Dosing Instructions

Add daily to a high-flow area like the return pump, sump, or filter sock area.

Per 100 L of aquarium water:

• 15–30 ppm nitrate: 1.5–3.0 mL/day

• 30–45 ppm nitrate: 3.0–4.5 mL/day

• 45–60 ppm nitrate: 4.5–6.0 mL/day

• Above 60 ppm: Up to 6.0 mL/day

1 capful = 10 mL
20 drops ≈ 1 mL

Gently invert bottle before use if it has been stored for long periods. Shaking is not required.

Caution

• Do not overdose. Overuse may lead to bacterial blooms or oxygen depletion.

• Monitor nitrate levels weekly to adjust dosage as needed.

• Not for use in freshwater or planted tanks.
