Aquael Ultramax Canister Filter

Aquael Ultramax Canister Filter

The Aquael Ultramax Canister Filter range is designed for aquarists who want powerful filtration, quiet operation and easier maintenance. Available in Ultramax 1000, 1500 and 2000 models, the range is suitable for medium to large aquariums and provides high-capacity mechanical, biological and chemical filtration.

One of the key features of the Ultramax is its built-in prefilter. Positioned at the top of the unit, the prefilter captures larger debris before it reaches the main filter media and can be accessed quickly for cleaning. This helps reduce how often the full canister needs to be opened and keeps the main filtration media cleaner for longer.

The Ultramax range also offers a large internal media capacity with removable filtration baskets, allowing you to customise the filter media to suit your aquarium. Its energy-efficient motor and quiet operation make it well suited to aquariums in living rooms, offices and other areas where noise is important.
