AquaLabs Brine Shrimp Eggs are high-quality Artemia cysts designed to hatch into nutritious live baby brine shrimp (nauplii). With a 95% hatch rate, they provide an excellent live food source for fish fry, juvenile fish and small aquarium fish, helping support healthy growth, development and natural feeding behaviour.
Brine shrimp are particularly popular for raising fish fry due to their small size and nutritional value. To hatch, simply add the cysts to a saltwater solution and provide aeration. Freshly hatched brine shrimp can generally be harvested after 24–48 hours and fed to your fish.
Important: AquaLabs Brine Shrimp Eggs must be hatched before feeding. Do not feed the unhatched cysts directly to fish, as the egg shells can be harmful to smaller fish. For best long-term hatch rates, store the eggs sealed and protected from moisture at temperatures below 5°C.
