Reef S2P Tank

The CADE Reef S2P is a rimless, open-top aquarium built from ultra-clear flat-polished Opti-Clear glass and bonded with premium German Wacker silicone. A laser-etched CADE logo on the front panel confirms authenticity. The S2P’s extra-wide design allows greater aquascaping depth, improved viewing angles, and generous room for coral growth.

The slimline S2P glass weir features both surface and low-level intakes for superior debris removal and added safety should one intake become blocked. Water is diverted through a rear glass channel for efficient capture and drainage. Two drainpipes—a main downflow and an emergency overflow—deliver water silently to the sump. All CADE Reef tanks include a white laminated base, ideal for bare-bottom systems or minimal sand beds.

Reef S2P Cabinet

The 900mm-tall CADE S2P cabinet arrives fully assembled with the sump installed. Constructed from 100% waterproof materials—aluminium, glass, and industrial plastics—it will never swell, rust, or deteriorate. Hidden magnetic door latches and a durable powder-coated finish ensure long-term reliability in saltwater environments.

The S2P features an advanced controller and power management system. Inside the cabinet is a dedicated controller display panel with two power boards (8 switched sockets each). Behind the panel is a ventilated storage area for cables, power packs, and backup batteries.

All S2P models include spacious dry compartments for chillers, dosing containers, and accessories, with an added water feed tap for a chiller or calcium reactor. An accessories shelf is also provided. A tank mat protects the base, and caster feet allow easy levelling.

Filtration & Plumbing

The S2P sump uses a raceway-style flow path to maximise efficiency and eliminate dead spots. It includes:

• A 2×2 filter sock chamber

• A removable macro-algae refugium baffle

• A skimmer/reactor chamber

• A biological & chemical media chamber with removable, flow-controlled baskets

• A generously sized return pump chamber

Each model includes a high-volume ATO reservoir (ATO device not included).

Plumbing is a pre-fabricated screw-fit system that installs in minutes. Dual downflow pipes (main drain + emergency) feed the sump, with a fine-tuning gate valve for silent operation. Return flow uses two concealed 25mm pipes with non-return valves.

The S2P also includes additional reactor and chiller feed taps, providing options for hard plumbing or 19mm flexible hose.
