Coral Essentials Coral Power Trace A is a concentrated trace element supplement designed to maintain optimal strontium levels in marine aquariums. Formulated with 50,000 ppm strontium alongside barium, it supports coral skeletal development, colouration, and consistent growth in reef systems.
In natural seawater, strontium levels sit around 8–10 ppm, and maintaining a range between 5–15 ppm is recommended for healthy coral growth. Levels dropping below this range may negatively impact coral development, making regular testing and controlled dosing essential, especially in heavily stocked systems.
For advanced reef keepers, monitoring strontium consumption allows for precise dosing tailored to your aquarium’s uptake rate, helping maintain long-term stability and optimal coral health.
Dosage Guide:
Dose 1 drop (0.05 ml) daily per 100L of aquarium water. If your system responds well and coral density is higher, gradually increase over time to 2–3 drops (0.1–0.15 ml) daily per 100L. Do not exceed 4 drops (0.2 ml) daily per 100L in heavily stocked systems.
For advanced users, 0.1 ml (2 drops) will raise strontium levels by approximately 0.05 ppm per 100L, allowing accurate adjustment based on your system’s depletion rate.
