Alkalinity is essential for coral calcification and skeletal growth, particularly in SPS-dominant systems, where demand is high. Consistent dosing ensures stability, helping prevent fluctuations that can stress corals and impact growth.

Dosing Options:

Simple Daily Dosing:

  • Soft Coral / LPS Systems: 3 ml per 100L daily
  • Mixed Reef Systems: 6 ml per 100L daily
  • SPS Dominant Systems: 12 ml per 100L daily

Advanced Dosing (Recommended):
For optimal results, test alkalinity (KH) regularly to determine your system’s consumption. Adjust dosing to match uptake and continue monitoring as coral growth and stocking levels increase over time.

For best performance, maintain alkalinity between 8–9 dKH, with 8.5–9.0 dKH ideal for high-growth SPS and hard coral systems.

Dosing Reference:

  • 1 ml will raise alkalinity by approximately 1.8 ppm (0.1 dKH) per 100L
