Red Sea Reef Energy Plus is an all-in-one coral nutrition supplement formulated to provide the carbohydrates, amino acids, fatty acids and vitamins required for coral growth, coloration and healthy soft tissue development.

The complete formula is designed to be readily consumed and utilised by corals, supporting metabolic processes such as protein production and tissue regeneration. Reef Energy Plus is suitable for soft corals, LPS, SPS and mixed reef aquariums and is designed for daily use as part of a complete reef care program.

Recommended Daily Dosage

For a Mixed Reef or SPS Frag System:

4mL per 100L daily

For an SPS-Dominant Reef:

8mL per 100L daily

For an Ultra Low Nutrient System (ULNS):

12mL per 100L daily

These amounts are recommended starting doses. The actual dose should be adjusted according to coral response and the aquarium’s nitrate and phosphate levels.

Shake well before use.

Dose Reef Energy Plus daily for the most consistent coral nutrition and growth.

When starting Reef Energy Plus, begin with the recommended dosage for your aquarium type and monitor coral appearance along with nitrate and phosphate levels.

If nutrient levels begin to increase or a grey/brown biofilm or excessive algae develops, reduce the dose.

For best results, maintain stable reef parameters and provide regular, consistent feeding rather than occasional large doses.

Using With a Dosing Pump

Reef Energy Plus can be used with an automatic dosing pump.

After opening, the main bottle should be refrigerated.

When using a dosing pump, place up to one week’s supply into the dosing container. The weekly portion can remain unrefrigerated during that period.

Clean the dosing container thoroughly before refilling it each week.

• Refrigerate after opening

• Do not freeze

• Reef Energy Plus remains suitable for up to one year after opening when stored correctly

• A one-week supply can be kept unrefrigerated when connected to a dosing system

Adjusting the Dose

The recommended dosage is a starting point and may need adjustment depending on coral population, growth rate and nutrient levels.

Signs of excessive dosing may include:

• Grey or brown biofilm developing on live rock

• Increased algae growth

• Rising nitrate or phosphate

In very low nutrient systems, inadequate coral nutrition may contribute to paling or bleaching beginning from the base of the coral.

Regular observation of coral colour, polyp extension and nutrient levels will help determine the appropriate daily dose for your individual reef aquarium.
