The Seachem Tidal Power Filter range is designed to deliver powerful, flexible and easy-to-maintain aquarium filtration for both freshwater and marine setups. Available in Tidal 35, 55, 75 and 110 models, the range combines high flow rates, large media capacity and smart maintenance features in a compact hang-on-back design.

Unlike traditional power filters that rely on disposable cartridges, Tidal filters use a large removable media basket that can be customised with your preferred mechanical, biological and chemical filtration media.

Self-Priming & Easy to Use

The self-priming pump makes startup simple and eliminates the need to manually fill the filter chamber before operation. It also allows the filter to restart automatically after a power outage, making everyday use more convenient.

Surface Skimming & Dual Intake

Tidal Power Filters draw water from both the lower aquarium and the surface.

The built-in surface skimmer helps remove surface film, oils and floating debris, while the lower intake captures suspended waste from deeper areas of the aquarium.

Adjustable Flow Control

The flow regulation dial allows you to adjust water movement to suit your aquarium.

This makes the Tidal range suitable for a variety of setups, from community aquariums requiring gentler flow to larger systems that benefit from stronger circulation.

Large Customisable Media Basket

Each Tidal filter features a spacious removable basket that allows you to use your preferred filtration media.

The filter is supplied with:

• Coarse mechanical sponge
• Seachem Matrix biological filtration media

Additional media such as Seachem Purigen, MatrixCarbon or Zeolite can also be added where required.

Bottom-to-Top Filtration

Water is directed from the bottom of the filter upward through the filtration media, helping ensure water passes through the media rather than bypassing it.

This design maximises contact time with mechanical, biological and chemical filtration media.

Easy Maintenance

The removable filter basket is designed to make routine cleaning simple.

It can be lifted from the filter and attached to the lid for cleaner transport to the sink or maintenance area. A built-in maintenance indicator rises when the filter requires attention, helping you know when cleaning is due.
