It is best used when fish show cotton-like growths, damaged tissue with fungal development, or other signs of external fungal infection.

  • Acriflavine: 2.00 mg/mL

Dosage

For standard treatment:

Dose 5 mL per 20 litres of aquarium water.

For tetras, juvenile fish and scaleless fish such as loaches:

Dose 5 mL per 40 litres of aquarium water.

If required, treatment may be repeated after 3 days.

Treatment Directions

For best results:

  • Remove activated carbon from the filtration system
  • Maintain strong aeration throughout treatment
  • Perform a 25% water change before treatment
  • Repeat a 25% water change every third day during treatment where required
  • Use a quarantine or hospital tank where practical
  • Monitor sensitive fish closely
  • Do not overdose
