Blue Planet White Spot Remedy is a broad-spectrum treatment for white spot, velvet disease and fungal infections in freshwater and tropical freshwater aquarium fish.
It contains Formaldehyde and Malachite Green, making it suitable for treating common external parasite and fungal problems when fish show symptoms such as white spots, flashing, rubbing, clamped fins or visible fungal growth.

Active Ingredients
- Formaldehyde: 37 mg/mL
- Malachite Green: 0.32 mg/mL
Dosage
For standard freshwater fish:
Dose 5 mL per 20 litres of aquarium water.
Equivalent to:
0.25 mL / approximately 5 drops per 1 litre
For tetras, baby fish and scaleless fish such as loaches:
Dose 5 mL per 40 litres of aquarium water.
Treatment Directions
- Repeat the dose after 3 days
- Maintain strong aeration throughout treatment
- Remove activated carbon from the filter during treatment
- Do not overdose
- Use a quarantine or hospital tank where practical
- Monitor sensitive fish closely throughout treatment
Important Information
This medication contains a dye and may stain aquarium equipment, silicone, clothing or surrounding surfaces if spilled.
Do not use on fish intended for human consumption.
